June 1944

  • 10 - Landed in Normandy. Concentrated at Coulombes. Relieved East Yorks, 69th Brigade, overlooking Tilly.
  • 24 - Attacked fontenay le Pesnil.
  • 30 - Relieved Tyneside Scottish at Tessel Brettevllle.

July 1944

  • 1 - Involved in enemy attack on 70th Brigade. Front Attack repulsed.
  • 16 - Relieved Hallams, Tessel Wood.
  • 16 - Occupied Yendes.
  • 26 - Moved to Caen sector. In reserve at Demouville.
  • 31 - Took over from 2nd Lincolns at Sannerville.

August 1944

  • 7 - Moved to Bourgebus.
  • 9 - Occupied Star toood.
  • 13 - Moved to Conteville and took over from 2nd Seaforth Higlanders.
  • 16 - Attacked high feature at Airan and from there daily fought advances to Quillebeuf on the Seine, via Ouitteville, Croisenville, Bonnebosque and Le Breul en Auge.
  • 29 - Cleared Foret de Bretonne, established in St. Nicholas.

September 1944

  • 1 - Crossed the Seine.
  • 2 - Attacked Gaineville.
  • 12 - Atacked Harfleur and Le Havre.
  • 19 - Began move to Belgium.
  • 23 - Arrived Kessel.
  • 24 - Advanced to Turnhout canal.
  • 25 - Established bridgehead.

October 1944

  • 4 - Arrived at Chap St m Jean.
  • 5 - Advanced in the direction of Goirle.
  • 6 - Viithdrew to Dutch frontier.
  • 7 - Attacked by enemy. Relieved by K0YLI and moved to rest area at Weelde.
  • 8 - Moved back into the line east of Poppel.
  • 12 - Moved to Baarle Nassau.
  • 20 - Took over Brigade front; H.Q. at Zondereigen.
  • 28 - Fought advance to Chaam and Ulicoten with 2nd Canadian Armoured Brigade.
  • 29 - Reached Marieridal.
  • 30 - Reached Ginnekin, suburb of Breda.

November 1944

  • 3 - Moved to Roosendal.
  • 5 - Fought advance to willvmstad.
  • 14 - Arrived at Lamont.
  • 18 - Moved forward preparatory to attack on Maasbree.
  • 22 - Maasbree captured.
  • 26 - Hout Blerick was cleared.

December 1944

  • 1 - Left for staging area at Mill.
  • 2 - Arrived Nijmegen.
  • 14 - Arrived on the 'Island'.

April 1945

  • 2 - Moved to Flieran preparatory to clearing the 'Island'. Took Angeren and Huissen.
  • 5 - Moved to rest area.
  • 13 - Crossed the Ijssel and established in Arnhem.
  • 16 - Cleared De Steegh. Returned to Velp.
  • 18 - Moved to Wolfheze.
  • 26 - Moved to Lunteren.

May 1945

  • 1 - Moved to Benekon.
  • 3 - Moved to VWageningen.
  • 7 - Moved to Utrecht for VE day.
