L/Cpl 4807230 Thomas Ronald Cumberland - Dispatch Rider.
Mr Andrew Dyer, the grandson of Thomas Cumberland, has kindly allowed us to publish these photographs here
My Grandfather served with the 2nd Battalion The Lincolnshire Regiment in World war 2. My grandfather was Thomas Ronald Cumberland, he was a dispatch rider I think in HQ company. He was injured as you can see from his pass.
I would like to hear from anyone who can give me more information about his injuries or about anyone in these photographs.
Andrew Dyer, 1 June 2011.
