This selection of photographs is displayed in chronological order. The earliest picture dates from 1920 because his uncle was in the Regiment before him. Cpl Barrett served as Bass Drummer in the Corps of Drums and later with the Band, he also trained the boxing team. He served with the 2nd Battalion, of the Royal Lincolnshire Regiment, in Palestine and the 1st Battalion in Egypt; then with the Royal Anglian Regiment from 1960.
