Hérouville, Normandy, June 2009
The wreath, sent by the Regimental Association, was laid by Sgt Chris Headland, who was accompanied by Drummer Birkin.
Chris's own uncle, Don, sadly died of wounds, with the 2nd Battalion, before Hérouville. He was one of the Battalion's first casualties at Sword Beach.
